The National Weather Service reported that the snow will follow lashing the northeastern U.S. coast. Washington is one of the capitals, as well as throughout its region, most affected from this weekend and is expected to accumulate heavy snow over a foot. Transport, schools, airports, malls, parliamentary sessions and many citizens are suffering the consequences and the city is paralyzed by the snowstorm.
The condition of roads is no better. Accumulate to more than 70 centimeters and the plows can not cope. And as is usual in these cases the power cuts are common. Maryland and Virginia are other affected states. It is estimated that from Indiana to New Jersey, a territory that stretches over 1,000 km, the storm affecting millions of Americans.
